From the newest products and equipment to today’s leading chefs, former U.S. Secretary of State Condoleeza Rice and singer Keith Urban, there’ll be something for everyone at this year’s Show.
Starting May 19, there’ll be lots to do and see at this year’s National Restaurant Association Show in Chicago.
The industry’s newest food products and equipment will be on display, leading chefs will preside over our World Culinary Showcase, and, if that isn’t enough, singer Keith Urban will be on hand to make Restaurants Rock!
And, If you’re interested in U.S. foreign policy, international relations and national security, don’t miss Condoleeza Rice and Dawn Sweeney at Signature ’18, our take on the traditional keynote speech.
The former Secretary of State will join our president and CEO for a wide-ranging discussion on politics and the current business climate. The conversation, followed by an interactive Q&A, will take place May 20 at McCormick Place.
“We’re honored to host Dr. Rice, and look forward to her dynamic conversation with Dawn,” said Dickie Brennan, this year’s Show chair and owner/managing partner of the Dickie Brennan & Company restaurant group in New Orleans. “Dr. Rice will offer invaluable insights into global events and the impact they have on America and the world.”
Rice served as President George W. Bush’s Secretary of State from 2005 to 2009 and was the first African-American woman to hold the post. She also served as National Security Advisor during his first term in office. Today, she is a founding partner at consulting firm RiceHadleyGates LLC in Silicon Valley, Calif., and Washington, D.C.
Signature ’18 is open to registered Show attendees, exhibitors and media. Seating is available on a first come, first served basis.
