Today Nikki Beach Worldwide announced that it has formally opened its newest location, a beach property in Port Ferdinand, Barbados. Nikki Beach Barbados is the first luxury beach club property in Barbados, and sits on 1.4 acres of pristine beachfront, offering spectacular views of the Atlantic Ocean.
Nikki Beach Barbados soft-opened with a sold-out New Year’s Eve celebration. In signature Nikki Beach fashion, the evening featured an array of local entertainers, including stilted dancers, jugglers, ballerinas, mermaids, acrobats, percussionists and more. A dinner that blended Nikki Beach classics with local flavors was served, and more than 400 bottles of Champagne were consumed. The evening was capped off by a firework display and dancing.
“Barbados is a magical destination that has quickly become one of my favorites, and I am delighted to open our first Nikki Beach property on the island,” says Jack Penrod, Founder and Owner of Nikki Beach Worldwide. “Following our sold-out New Year’s Eve celebration, we have seen a great response from our guests, and we look forward to quickly becoming an integral part of the Barbadian experience.”
Nikki Beach Barbados showcases the signature Nikki Beach look and feel, featuring an inviting design of all white with wood accents. The designs highlight stone elements sourced from the region, as well as Caribbean features selected by renowned developer Jada Group.
This intimate beach club location includes a restaurant, pool and beach access with oceanfront seating for up to 200 guests. In case of inclement weather, the dining space is covered with a waterproof awning. Nikki Beach welcomes guests rain or shine.
The pool features an octagon wet bar where guests can swim up to enjoy Nikki Beach’s signature cocktail selection. Four oversized luxury pool beds also line the dock, allowing guests to relax with Caribbean waves crashing around them.
All white sunbeds and VIP cabanas anchor the space where guests can indulge with Champagne, refreshing cocktails and delicious food with locally sourced ingredients. Nikki Beach brings its sought-after musical culture to the island with resident DJs and musicians, featuring dance, lounge and signature Nikki Beach beats. An in-house saxophonist, percussionist and violinist, among other musicians, create an atmosphere that lends itself to lasting memories.
An impressive runway feature is present poolside for Nikki Beach’s fashion shows and quarterly “What Women Want” events. Various amenities featured on property include a Nikki Beach Lifestyle Boutique, which carries branded polo shirts and t-shirts, luxury designer clothing and swimwear for men and women, as well as towels, hats, beach bags, accessories, music and more. Showers and changing rooms are on property.
Nikki Beach Barbados serves daytime and seaside dinner service. Nikki Beach’s global dining philosophy incorporates approachable cuisine that is healthful, beautifully presented and prepared with simplicity in mind. Torch lanterns line the property and underwater lighting highlights the rocks as diners gaze out onto the sea and the sea life.
Nikki Beach Barbados is dedicated to using seasonal, local ingredients that are organic whenever possible to create farm-to-table dishes that support the Barbados community. The Nikki Beach culinary team works with local fishermen to offer the freshest Caribbean catches. An on-site rotisserie is also a featured culinary element.
While approximately 60 percent of the menu features Nikki Beach’s signature dishes, 40 percent has been developed by the property’s Chef de Cuisine, incorporating local flavors and ingredients. Oversized, sharable seafood platters, impressive Nikki Beach sushi boats, organic chicken, rotisserie pork and ceviche are made with a Caribbean flair.
Since the view is spectacular, sunset cocktails and aperitif style service are offered between 5pm and 6pm at the octagon bar. With every cocktail ordered, guests are served bites from the menu. The world-famous Nikki Beach Mojito has been adapted to the region by using local Caribbean rum, and promises to become a favorite libation.
Concierge, valet service and ample parking (both on and off property) are available to guests. Yachts can dock directly at the location, and water shuttle service is offered as well. A pick-up and drop-off service is available for VIP clients who come to the venue before midday.
Nikki Beach Barbados is open daily for lunch from noon to 7pm, and dinner is served Thursday to Saturday from 7pm to midnight.
