Old Chicago Pizza & Taproom Is Now Open In Hixson, Tenn.

Founded in 1976, Old Chicago operates in 22 states with 96 restaurants.

 
Old Chicago Pizza & Taproom, a national casual dining restaurant known for its delicious, handcrafted pizza and vast craft beer selection, announced that it has opened its first location in the Chattanooga Area of Tenn., at the Northgate Mall (250 Northgate Mall Drive). The restaurant will create nearly 120 jobs for the area. To celebrate the opening in Hixson, Old Chicago Pizza & Taproom has partnered with local charity, Chattanooga Area Food Bank. One dollar from every Chicago 7™ and Meat Me™ specialty pizza ordered after 3 p.m. this month through January 4 will be donated to the organization in support of the fight against hunger.

We look forward to introducing everyone in Hixson to our freshly, handcrafted pizza and diverse menu of world-class craft beers this month while helping out an incredible organization such as the Chattanooga Area Food Bank.”
Old Chicago Pizza & Taproom offers an expansive menu ranging from shareable appetizers and fresh salads to taproom classics including hearty burgers and handcrafted pizzas. Old Chicago Hixson will feature a variety of Tennessee craft beers from breweries such as Chattanooga Brewing Company and Big River Brewing Company. Also, among the variety of 14 specialty pizzas that guests may choose from, the two most popular pizzas will benefit the Chattanooga Food Bank:

  • Chicago 7™– Pepperoni, Italian sausage, red onions, black olives, green peppers, sliced mushrooms and signature house pizza sauce.
  • Meat Me™ – Loaded with four premium meaty toppings and garnished with green olives and fresh basil.

The 4,840-square-foot restaurant, including patio dining, also features 11 HD televisions for prime sports viewing along with 36 beer taps pouring the finest brews tasted and selected by a Certified Cicerone® – the equivalent to a wine sommelier in the beer world.
