Shula’s 347 Grill Makes Atlanta Debut at New Marriott Buckhead Hotel & Conference Center
Hall of Fame Football Coach opens Georgia’s first 347 Grill restaurant
Shula’s 347 Grill is now open at the new Atlanta Marriott Buckhead Hotel & Conference Center on Lenox Road across from Lenox Square. This fresh addition to the local dining scene will provide the perfect gathering place for after work cocktails, watching the big game, and of course, enjoying Shula’s signature meals.
Shula’s 347 Grill celebrated its Atlanta debut with a grand opening ceremony of the restaurant and the hotel on December 9. The restaurant’s namesake, Hall of Fame coach Don Shula, the winningest coach in NFL history with 347 career victories, participated in the Atlanta festivities along with other notables including Atlanta Falcons President Rich McKay, Don Griffin formerly of the San Francisco 49ers, William Judson formerly of the Miami Dolphins, Chipper Jones of the Atlanta Braves, Mark Lemke formerly of the Atlanta Braves, and Dean Roland of Collective Soul.
A silent auction featuring exclusive sports memorabilia and vacation packages from Pyramid Hotel Group benefited Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta. The event raised $34,000 – of which $25,000 was donated by the law office of Greenberg Traurig. More than 400 guests toured the new restaurant and sampled signature dishes before Coach Shula greeted the crowd during a special ceremony.
“Expanding into Georgia was a natural progression for Shula’s 347 Grill,” says former NFL Coach Don Shula. “We are excited to introduce this concept in Buckhead and found a perfect location within the new Atlanta Marriott Buckhead Hotel & Conference Center. The partnership will allow us to not only serve the surrounding residential and business community, but also out-of-town guests visiting Atlanta and looking for a premier dining experience.”
The fully-appointed 161-seat restaurant features a high-impact bar, private dining rooms and outdoor patio seating. Dark hardwoods and pigskin-covered walls complement the decor, and photographs showcasing local sports stars and national legends as well as popular Atlanta landmarks are featured throughout the venue.
The menu at Shula’s 347 features a wide variety of savory dishes from gourmet salads to fresh specialty fish. Shula’s exclusively serves Premium Black Angus Beef(R), used to create the famous SHULA CUT(R) steaks, the best beef money can buy.

Shula’s 347 Grill is open seven days a week for lunch and dinner.
