QDOBA Signs Agreements for Over 100 New Franchised Restaurants in Southeast and Western U.S.

QDOBA Mexican Eats has signed two new development agreements to open 50 new franchised restaurants in Atlanta and Nashville as part of its plan to double its footprint to approximately 2,000 locations.

In Atlanta, a former McDonald’s operator has committed to opening 30 QDOBA restaurants. In Nashville, a large Zaxby’s operator has committed to opening 20 QDOBA restaurants. QDOBA and its franchise partners currently operate more than 865 restaurants, with plans to open 100 restaurants annually and increase the share of franchised locations to 85% of the system.

7 Star Eats, an affiliate of B Wild Investments, LLC, has completed the acquisition of 22 QDOBA restaurants in the Pacific Northwest, bringing its total to 42 locations across Alaska, Colorado, Idaho, Montana, and Washington. This transaction makes 7 Star Eats one of QDOBA’s largest franchise partners.

B Wild Investments, LLC has expanded its development commitment to 63 units across Colorado, Utah, Washington, Nevada, and New Mexico.

QDOBA’s franchise-led expansion focuses on partnerships with multi-unit operators. Over 85 franchisees now operate nearly 80% of the brand’s restaurants, with a goal of increasing the franchised share to 85% within the next five years.

QDOBA prioritizes expansion in high-demand markets with strong interest from multi-unit franchise operators, with near-term growth planned on the East Coast and continued emphasis on California, Florida, Georgia, Tennessee, and Texas. The brand is also expanding in non-traditional venues such as airports, universities, and military bases.

QDOBA currently has more than 865 locations in 46 states, as well as in Canada, Puerto Rico, Japan, and South Korea.
