Papa Johns Names Chris Collins Interim CFO As Ravi Thanawala Departs

Papa Johns has appointed Chris Collins, Senior Vice President of Corporate Finance and Principal Accounting Officer, as interim Chief Financial Officer, effective immediately. Collins succeeds Ravi Thanawala, who is leaving to become chief financial officer at another public company. Thanawala will remain available to Papa Johns in an advisory capacity until July 31, 2026, to support the transition.

The company has begun a search for a permanent Chief Financial Officer. Collins joined Papa Johns as Vice President, Treasury and Tax in April 2021. He previously served as interim Chief Financial Officer and Principal Accounting Officer from March 2023 to July 2023. From July 2023 to July 2025, he was Vice President of Finance – Treasury, Tax, and International Business Segment. In July 2025, Collins was appointed Senior Vice President of Corporate Finance and Principal Accounting Officer.

Prior to joining Papa Johns, Collins was Vice President, Treasury at Signet Jewelers from 2019 to 2020. He also held financial leadership roles at The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company in the United States and Europe, as well as at American Axle & Manufacturing.

In connection with Thanawala’s departure, Marc Richard, Senior Vice President of North America Operations, has assumed responsibility for all North America operations, including those previously overseen by Thanawala as President.
