Felice Opens Flagship Restaurant in Flatiron District at 220 Fifth Avenue
Felice has opened its flagship restaurant at the corner of Fifth Avenue and 26th Street, occupying a space in the 21-story neo-Gothic building at 220 Fifth Avenue, built in 1912 and overlooking Madison Square Park. The location features 18-foot ceilings and windows on three sides of the dining room, providing natural light and views of the park and Fifth Avenue.
The design, led by Bonetti/Kozerski Architecture, includes the largest bar Felice has created to date, constructed with Grigio Versilia marble and Chianti terracotta sourced from Tuscany. The dining room features a 30-foot-wide illuminated wine wall and custom Italian oak millwork crafted in Florence.
Felice Flatiron’s wine program offers a curated by-the-glass selection of whites, reds, rosés, and sparkling wines, primarily in the $16–$28 range. The bottle list includes international producers, many under $100, and a “Back to Natural” section focused on low-intervention wines. The program emphasizes a focused selection with fewer labels and a strong emphasis on Italian and select international producers from regions such as Spain and California.
The cocktail menu centers on classic Italian drinking traditions and includes new signature cocktails, such as the Dirty Martini Spritz, as well as seasonal variations on Italian aperitivo staples. Aperitivo is offered daily from late afternoon into evening. A Nightcap menu features post-dinner drinks including Amaro Shakerato, Limoncello Martini, and Affogato Martini.
The food menu continues Felice’s Tuscan-inspired approach, featuring seasonal ingredients, classic Italian pastas, and regional recipes. Additions specific to the Flatiron location include the Il Toscano Plate, with rotating selections of salumi, pecorino, olives, and crostini. The restaurant also offers a tableside tiramisu cart and an interactive amaro bar station.
