Village Baker Announces Franchise Expansion Into Idaho, Arizona, Colorado, and Texas
Village Baker, a family-owned bakery café brand with more than 30 years of history, is expanding its franchise footprint outside of Utah for the first time. The company currently operates eight locations in Utah, including one corporate store.
After building a loyal following and nearing full market saturation in Utah, Village Baker is targeting growth in Idaho, Arizona (Phoenix), Colorado, and Texas. The expansion will introduce its fast-casual, from-scratch bakery café concept to new regions in the Western and Southern United States.
Village Baker mills its own wheat and bakes breads, pizza dough, and other baked goods in-house, avoiding preservatives and shortcuts. The menu includes sandwiches, soups, salads, pizza, and baked goods. The company maintains both quality and generous portion sizes, even as other restaurant brands adjust these factors in response to rising costs.
The expansion strategy prioritizes long-term franchise growth and seeks owner-operators who are actively involved in day-to-day operations, especially in new markets. The franchise model covers breakfast, lunch, dinner, catering, and bakery sales, with established systems refined over decades of operation.
Village Baker is seeking franchise candidates with food or hospitality experience who are committed to hands-on operation and upholding the company’s quality standards in their local markets.
