Chicken Salad Chick Signs 25-Unit Franchise Agreement in New York State
Chicken Salad Chick has entered into a franchise development agreement for 25 new restaurants across upstate New York, marking the largest franchise deal in the company’s history. The planned locations will be developed in markets including Albany, Buffalo, Rochester, Syracuse, and the Upper Hudson Valley.
The franchisee is a multi-unit owner with experience developing and growing recognized franchise brands nationally. Chicken Salad Chick recently opened development opportunities in New York and New Jersey, with additional territories in both states still available for franchise owners.
In 2025, the company reported a record year, awarding nearly 100 new franchise restaurant deals and opening 42 locations across 14 states. Chicken Salad Chick has over 300 locations in its development pipeline.
The brand has been named to QSR magazine’s Best Franchise Deals for four years, ranked #3 in Fast Casual’s Top 100 Movers & Shakers, and ranked #158 in Franchise Times’ Top 400 Ranking for 2025.
