Wonder has acquired Blue Ribbon Fried Chicken from Blue Ribbon Restaurants. The transaction includes full ownership of the Blue Ribbon Fried Chicken brand, its Manhattan restaurant, and its current employees. The East Village restaurant will continue to operate with no planned changes to day-to-day operations and will remain available on third-party delivery platforms.

Blue Ribbon Fried Chicken was originally launched by chefs Eric and Bruce Bromberg as a dedicated concept inspired by a menu item at Blue Ribbon Brasserie. The brand will now be scaled through Wonder’s platform. Wonder plans to introduce Blue Ribbon Fried Chicken as a concept at a Wonder location in New York City in 2026, with expansion to additional locations to follow.

Wonder customers will be able to order Blue Ribbon Fried Chicken alongside other concepts, including Streetbird, Detroit Brick Pizza, and Royal Greens, and mix and match menu items from each in a single order. The acquisition is part of Wonder’s strategy to own and operate restaurant brands.

Further details about the transaction, financial terms, or additional locations were not disclosed.
