Bill Leibengood Appointed As Chief Marketing Officer at Shipley Donuts

Shipley Donuts has announced the appointment of Bill Leibengood as its chief marketing officer. Leibengood brings more than 25 years of experience in restaurant marketing and operations to the role. His previous roles include serving as chief marketing officer and later chief operating officer at Houlihan’s, as well as holding senior marketing positions at Wingstop Restaurants and Applebee’s.

In his new role at Shipley Donuts, Leibengood will be responsible for developing and implementing marketing strategies to drive same-store sales growth and enhance digital engagement. The company is focusing on providing modern touchpoints for guests and ensuring cohesive marketing efforts across its system.

Shipley Donuts has experienced significant growth, opening 35 new locations in 2025. These new shops are located in states including North Carolina, Virginia, Tennessee, Alabama, Florida, and Georgia. The company continues to offer franchise opportunities in the South, Southeast, and Midwest regions.

The appointment of Leibengood is part of Shipley Donuts’ strategy to expand its presence and strengthen its marketing capabilities as it continues to grow across the United States.
