Eggs Up Grill Expands with 18 New Locations in 2025
Eggs Up Grill, a breakfast and lunch restaurant chain, expanded its operations in 2025 by opening 18 new locations, marking the highest number of openings in a single year for the company. This expansion contributed to the chain achieving its 20th consecutive quarter of positive same-store sales growth, with a 7% increase in same-store sales for the year.
The company also reported a 27% increase in average unit volume since 2021. In addition to the new openings, Eggs Up Grill awarded over 30 new franchise commitments in 2025. This brings the total number of operating locations to 105, with more than 190 locations either open or in development.
The growth of the franchise system is primarily driven by existing franchise partners, with more than 60% of them operating multiple restaurants. Furthermore, 75% of the new restaurant pipeline for 2026 is expected to come from these existing franchisees.
In 2025, Eggs Up Grill introduced several initiatives to support both guests and franchise partners. These included the launch of an affinity program called Smile Society, a redesigned kitchen to improve service efficiency, and a new partnership with Apple Pie Capital to facilitate franchisee investment and expansion.
Eggs Up Grill’s performance in 2025 was recognized when it was ranked No. 1 on Entrepreneur Magazine’s Franchise 500 for the fourth consecutive year.
The company is actively seeking new franchise partners to support its continued expansion nationwide.
