Peter Piper Pizza and Arizona Culinary Institute Launch Student Chef Contest

Peter Piper Pizza has collaborated with the Arizona Culinary Institute (ACI) to introduce the Innovation Oven Contest, a competition aimed at culinary students to create a new limited-time menu item for the restaurant chain. The contest is open to ACI students, and the winning entry will be featured at Peter Piper Pizza locations in Phoenix, Tucson, and Albuquerque from November 4, 2025, to January 26, 2026.

The student whose creation is selected will receive a $1,500 scholarship and a portion of the sales generated from their menu item during its availability. The initiative is part of Peter Piper Pizza’s efforts to support culinary education and provide practical industry experience to students.

This contest is linked to Peter Piper Pizza’s educational initiatives through its Slice of Knowledge Foundation, which focuses on supporting children’s education in Arizona and Albuquerque. The foundation is known for its involvement in educational programs and providing grants to support learning opportunities.

Arizona Culinary Institute President Robert Wilson noted that the partnership with Peter Piper Pizza offers students a chance to gain industry experience and understand the process of bringing a culinary concept to market. The competition allows students to learn about the development and evaluation of new menu items in a real-world setting.

Students interested in participating can register through the Peter Piper Pizza website. The contest represents a strategic collaboration aimed at fostering innovation in menu development while investing in the education of future culinary professionals.
