Eggs Up Grill to Open 100th Location in Tennessee Next Month
Eggs Up Grill is set to open its 100th location in Kingsport, Tennessee, on September 8. This development comes after a period of rapid expansion for the franchise, which has seen consistent growth over the past four years. The new restaurant will be operated by franchise partner Ken Bates, who, along with his son Ethan, already runs two other locations in the Tri-Cities area.
The Kingsport opening is part of a broader strategy to expand the franchise’s presence in high-growth markets across the United States. Eggs Up Grill has experienced 18 consecutive quarters of sales growth, with a 40 percent increase in average restaurant volumes. The franchise aims to close out 2025 with over 105 restaurants across 11 states and plans to open more than 25 additional locations by 2026.
Ken Bates, a former Little Caesars operator, is planning to further expand his involvement with the franchise by opening four additional locations across East Tennessee and Knoxville. This expansion is part of Eggs Up Grill’s focus on attracting multi-unit and multi-brand franchise partners.
Eggs Up Grill’s business model includes investments in operational innovations aimed at enhancing both the guest experience and franchisee success. The franchise is targeting system-wide revenues of approximately $140 million by the end of 2025.
