North America’s 50 Best Restaurants List to Premiere in September 2025
50 Best has confirmed that the inaugural list of North America’s 50 Best Restaurants will be revealed in Las Vegas on September 25, 2025. The event, backed by sponsors S.Pellegrino & Acqua Panna, will be hosted at Wynn Las Vegas, marking the first time that 50 Best has introduced a restaurant ranking for the North American continent.
The city of Las Vegas has been chosen as the ideal location for the first North America’s 50 Best Restaurants awards ceremony. The event promises to draw the culinary community from across the continent and will spotlight the exceptional talent and narratives that are shaping the region’s food culture.
The awards ceremony will be the culmination of a series of events celebrating the best culinary talent in North America, leading up to the announcement of the Best Restaurant in North America. Before the main ceremony, several special announcements will be made, including the Champions of Change Award, Art of Hospitality Award, and One to Watch Award. The evening will also include special awards to honor the accomplishments of individuals and establishments within the industry.
The final ranking will be the result of evaluations by 300 expert voters, including chefs, restaurateurs, food and beverage journalists, educators, and seasoned gourmets. These anonymous voters have been recruited across eight sub-regions within North America by respected industry Academy Chairs.
In addition to the awards ceremony, the program for North America’s 50 Best Restaurants will also feature a thought-leadership forum, a press conference with industry leaders, a Chefs’ Feast showcasing the finest ingredients and cooking techniques, and the awards ceremony and countdown.
The event marks a significant milestone in recognizing and celebrating culinary talent in North America, bringing together the continent’s most renowned chefs and industry leaders.
