Angelina Bakery, a popular New York-based bakery recognized for its Italian pastries, has opened its first store outside New York City in Fort Lee, New Jersey. The move marks a significant development for the bakery as it seeks to expand its reach to the vibrant and diverse community of Fort Lee.
Angelina Bakery will host a tasting event of different signature food items during its soft opening weekend from April 17 to 19 to celebrate the new opening. The official Grand Opening is scheduled for April 30, 2025.
Along with the launch of the Fort Lee store, the bakery is also introducing an expanded menu. One notable addition is their variety of Pinsa, a Roman-style flatbread made with a unique blend of wheat, soy, and rice flours, offering a lighter and healthier alternative to traditional pizza. The bakery also introduces dessert-topped lattes, including a Cannoli Latte, a Dubai Chocolate Latte, and a Hazelnut Latte.
In a nod to the rich Korean American community in Fort Lee and founder Tony Park’s Korean-Italian heritage, Angelina Bakery will also be offering Korean-inspired treats. These include Mochi Balls and Tissue Bread, a light, flaky bread popular in Korean café culture.
The new store in Fort Lee is part of a larger expansion plan for Angelina Bakery. Development is already underway for a new location in Boston, Massachusetts, with other potential markets including New Haven, Connecticut, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and Virginia.
