Inaugural 51-100 List Announced By North America’s 50 Best Bars, 2025

The United States leads the list with 29 bars from various cities; Canada follows with 15 establishments, and Mexico contributes five bars.
The 2025 edition of North America’s 50 Best Bars, sponsored by Perrier, has released its inaugural extended list, ranking bars from 51 to 100. The list results from votes cast by the voting academy, comprising over 300 independent cocktail experts, renowned bartenders, educators, and drinks writers across the region.
The 51-100 list includes bars from 23 destinations throughout North America. The United States has the most representation with 29 bars from cities across the country, including New York, Los Angeles, and Chicago, as well as Albuquerque, Boston, Houston, Miami, New Orleans, Phoenix, and more. Canada is highlighted with 15 establishments from Vancouver, Toronto, Montreal, Calgary, and Victoria, while Mexico City, Oaxaca, and Playa del Carmen contribute a total of five bars to the list.
The 51-100 list celebrates the rich and diverse cocktail cultures of the region, ahead of the announcement of the top 50 list on April 29 in Vancouver, Canada. Emma Sleight, Content Director of North America’s 50 Best Bars, noted that by sharing the 51-100 list, they acknowledge the hard work and dedication of a larger sector of the hospitality and drinks community and spotlight the development of an exceptional drinks culture throughout the region.
Leading the list in the 51-100 positions is Toronto’s Library Bar at No. 51. Other notable bars include Missy’s of Calgary at No. 52 and Bar Bisou Bisou of Montreal at No. 75. Among the U.S. bars are Nickel City of Austin at No. 70, Happy Accidents of Albuquerque at No. 88, Bar Leather Apron of Honolulu at No. 73, Bandista of Houston at No. 59, and Equal Measure of Boston at No. 81. Seattle’s bars on the list include Roquette at No. 72, The Doctor’s Office at No. 76, and Canon at No. 79. Five bars from Mexico also made the list: Sabina Sabe (No.54), Brujas (No.65), Zapote Bar (No.74), Ticuchi (No.82), and Casa Prunes (No.94).
