Texas Welcomes Its First Vocelli Pizza Outlet As Part of Brand’s National Expansion

Vocelli Pizza is set to debut in Texas following a franchise agreement with seasoned entrepreneur Gary Nichols. This strategic move, scheduled for 2025, underscores a significant progression in Vocelli’s franchise growth strategy as it broadens its national presence.
Nichols, a Texas native with 25 years of diverse business experience, has joined the Vocelli team. Nichols’ decision to partner with Vocelli was driven by the brand’s commitment to quality ingredients and its robust franchise support system. He sees considerable growth potential for Vocelli in Texas, an untapped market for the brand. The upcoming restaurant will be situated in a newly constructed 16,000-square-foot Travel Center in Fairfield, Texas, marking a new, larger footprint for the brand.
Toni Bianco, CEO for Vocelli Pizza, expressed his enthusiasm for the Texas expansion, highlighting Nichols’ expertise as a key asset. “We’re looking forward to building on this momentum as we explore more opportunities for Vocelli across the U.S. in 2025,” said Bianco.
Apart from traditional locations, Vocelli has been considering expansion in non-traditional locations such as malls, college campuses, airports, and office buildings. In 2024, the brand inaugurated a location at the University of Alabama at Birmingham, targeting a younger demographic. This location has shown record-breaking performance.
Vocelli also announced the relaunch of their successful Ultimate Pepperoni Pizza and Cheesesticks, following the expansion news. The company closed out 2024 with record-breaking sales and EBIDTA, and its Q1 performance is on track to be one of the best in company history. In light of the brand’s continued success, Vocelli Pizza was recently ranked 20th by Pizza Marketplace in their Top 100 Mover and Shaker list for 2025.
Vocelli Pizza, headquartered in Pittsburgh, PA, operates over 80 locations nationwide.
